Our center welcomes qualified individuals who have been through our orientation and protection application processes to volunteer for all our ministry programs.

Who can serve at the Neighborhood C.A.R.E. Center?
Anyone over the age of 5 is welcome to serve!
Can my 13-year-old serve regularly at the Neighborhood C.A.R.E. Center?
No. All regular program volunteers must be at least 16 years-old to serve in these roles. Anyone under the age of 16 is welcome to serve with their parents in an as-needed basis.
Who is required to attend the Volunteer Orientation?
Anyone who wishes to serve in a regular capacity and specifically with one of our youth programs will need to complete the Volunteer Orientation, which includes a background check.
What is covered in the Volunteer Orientation Class?
Individuals who attend the class will be asked to complete a Volunteer Application and background check. In addition, you will learn specifics about the life of the C.A.R.E. Center.
Do I have to pay for my background check?
No, the Neighborhood C.A.R.E. Center covers the cost of all background checks.
Do you have ways to track volunteer hours to complete community service requirements of the court?
Yes, we are able to work with individuals who need to complete community service hourse. Contact our office for more information.
